THE REFLECTIONS STORY....
In 1995 when i got hooked on the Internet and enjoyed this new facility, I found out that like any other contraption known to man, the web was plagued with censored and censured materials like pornography, anti-Christian sites, and violence.  So I thought, wouldn't it be good if I could use the facilities of the net to give glory to God?  So I started to send inspirational messages and articles  sourced from the Web and elsewhere, to friends and relatives abroad through e-mail.
At first, I never thought of it as a ministry as I started to send inspirational pieces to friends and cousins abroad.  They in turn would forward these inspirational messages to cousins and friends, so on and so forth.  As this forwarding scheme prospered, those people who had recieved the pieces would write me requesting me to send the inspirational pieces to them directly.  And as they in turn would forward them to their own friends and families, membership to the network grew.  Their friends would write me requesting the reflections sent them.  Membership, thanks to the Lord, has grown tremendously from the initial six whom I had sent the reflection pieces the first time to more than 1,700 direct subsribers to date.
As the Ministry is Ecumenical, one rule that we maintain is that any writeup or testimony should not go against or attack any Christian group's belief.  As the reflection pieces are configured via a special  program, they are sent or forwarded to me (and not directly to subscribers in the list) for editing.   I am happy to note the reflections have reached Saudi Arabia, the United States, Europe, Singapore, Hongkong, Thailand, etc.
We've received quite a number of responses, some thanking us for being God's intrument for inspiration, some from priests who say they use the stories in preaching, some sharing personal experiences.  However, there are also some subscribers belonging to another denomination who have harassed us by provoking us to participate in a debate on some of the pieces sent.   Thank God they have stopped disturbing us after we ignored their negative reactions.
The Lord's special touch and blessings come in different forms.  As techonology progresses, He finds ways to reach out to more people via this new technology called the Internet.  It is just a matter of responding to Him.  Reflections offers that alternative, though one of many, for Him to speak to everyone's hearts, and to be enriched with the stories and sharings that come forth.
